 soccer is an international sport, the most popular sport, the world cup , the confederations cup,  
 
 
4)Why do you feel this story is important to tell?
 I think most people that are american don't know how popular soccer is and what it means to other people. 
 
 
 
5) What are some challenges of telling this story? (hard to find information, personal, etc)
 
 
it's hard to try to understand how important soccer is to people if the people aren't really surrounded by it.

soccer ball. The world cup. ibramhimovic my favorite soccer player. 


7) How does your project relate to our CSI Graduate Portfolio?
 
It shows that i am culturally aware, and internationally involved.

Soccer is a huge international sport. soccer orginated in England in the 1800s. Soccer is very important to other countries. It's almost weird how unpopular the sport is here. About 30 years ago barely anyone in the u.s have heard of soccer.  It recently became more popular and more people have got themselves involved in the sport

    I was born in egypt. Soccer in egypt or any part of africa is a very important sport. It's actually a part of their culture. When i was a little all the kids in school used to play soccer. i used to not like it because i don't like to be the same as everyone else. My dad got me into it when i was 12. he played since he was 11. my dad got good really fast and almost made it porfessional. he ended up breaking his leg and ruining both feet. He couldn't play anymore. My father passed it on to me and i got into it and i got pretty good fast. Not too many people played when we went to play. Americans aren't really into soccer. But i found people from spain, mexico, france, turkey,and couple of Albanian kids. They where really good. They were into the sport just as much as me. We started to play ever saturday. Then it became every saturday and sunday after watching our favorite teams play. The sport is growing tremendously in this country. In another 30 years the sport should be just as important here as in an other country.
